But Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven." - Matthew 19:14
Our 2-3 year class provides basic Bible instruction to children when they are at an age where learning is exciting. At this age, the children get an overview of the Bible story by being introduced to familiar stories in both the Old Testament and the New Testament. This class lays the foundation for the children to grow in their understanding of God's plan as revealed in the Bible. In addition to Bible stories, the children are instructed on basic godly qualities that even very young people can begin to build into their character.
The teachers of this age put a lot of effort into presenting these lessons in way that help the children grasp and remember the story or subject being studied. The use of hands-on activities, visual aids, and songs help reinforce the concepts in a tangible form and help them retain the information presented.
This class studies the same subjects as the 4-5 year old class. As with all our younger classes, the same lesson is taught on Sunday morning and Wednesday evening. Below is the current schedule of topics.
