The 4-5 year old class builds upon the basic Bible instruction given in the younger classes. This class continues to lay the foundation of Biblical knowledge that is needed to understand man's history and God's plan. By studying a broad range of stories from the Old and New Testament, the children get an overview of God's dealing's with man and what qualities and behaviors that God expects from us.
As in all our classes, the lessons are taught with in creative way that help the children enjoy learning and remember the information covered. In addition to story telling, other various teaching methods are used, such as hand-on activities, visual aids, and songs. The children are also introduced to memory verse work by using a very simple verse, or a section of a verse, related to the story they are learning.
This class follows a two year curriculum that gives a broad survey of the main stories in the Old and New Testament. Below is the schedule of lessons for the current quarter.
