Harold Hancock has preached the gospel since 1969, serving as a local evangelist in churches in Arkansas, Georgia, and Texas.  He began preaching for the Timberland Drive church of Christ in 1986.  Harold believes good preaching is preaching that is true to the Bible, that is simple, and that meets the needs of the audience.

Reagan McClenny

 

Reagan McClenny has preached the gospel since 2004.  After spending three summers in a preacher-training program with Bro. Wayne Fancher in Lindale, TX, he preached at the Lindale church of Christ for four years before coming to the Timberland Drive church of Christ in 2010.  Reagan has a B.A. in Biblical Studies and a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership and believes that the best preaching is simple, grounded in the Biblical text, clear and practical.

Kris Emerson

Kris Emerson

 

Kris was raised in New Caney, TX, and worshipped with the Humble Church of Christ. His wife, Sommer, is from Cleveland, TX.  Kris and Sommer have been married for 13 years and have two children-- Hannah, 10, and Luke, 7; Kris and Sommer are expecting their third child, another son, near the end of May, 2011.             

Kris is a very capable preacher.  He began preaching “full-time” in 2001 and has preached for the church in Cleveland, TX, and Mauriceville, TX. He is presently preaching for the Eastside Church of Christ in Baytown since October, 2007.

Greg King

 

Greg King, originally from Lufkin, now preaches at the Jamestown church of Christ in Jamestown, IN.  Greg is an able speaker and teacher with a love for souls and an engaging personality.  Greg is a family man with his wife Stacy, and his two children Shelby and Mitchell.  These lessons are from our Gospel Meeting with Greg from July 24-29, 2011 on the theme, "BE FAITHFUL...NOT FEARFUL."

H.E. Buddy Payne

H.E. Buddy Payne

 

Dr. Payne serves as President of Florida College in Temple Terrace, Florida.  He was born in Beaumont, Texas.  Dr. Payne and his wife Marilyn have been married for 42 years. They have four children and eleven grandchildren.  Dr. Payne received his professional training at Florida College (A.A.); Florida State University (B.S. in Science Education); Harvard University (M.A.T. in Science Education); University of South Florida (Ph.D. in Mathematics Education).   Dr. Payne has taught chemistry and mathematics and served administratively  as Dean of Students, Vice-President and Academic Dean before becoming President.  He has served as an evangelist for churches in St. Petersburg, Cortez and Tampa, Florida and Bucharest, Romania. Brother Payne now works with the Livingston Avenue church of Christ in Lutz, Florida, where he also serves as an elder.
